I'm grateful to have you here today, and I thank you for taking the time to explore this amazing and transformative practice that you can carry with you throughout your life.
Meditation has been a transformative aspect of my life. It's something I've explored for the past seven or so years, and I absolutely love the sense of peace and alignment it has brought me. My first experience with meditation over seven years ago stemmed from my love and practice of yoga. Attending yoga classes every week, we would conclude with a beautiful savasana (corpse pose). While many may have found this moment unnecessary and left at that time, I looked forward to it the most. Those few moments at the end of our yoga practice, lying in corpse pose, zoning out, and sinking into the earth, were never long enough for me. I would just start to clear my mind when it was time to come out.
After experiencing this sense of bliss during my savasanas, I decided to research local meditation classes and apps to help guide me on my meditation journey. I purchased books to learn how to meditate and attended a couple of local meditation sessions around Palmerston North. I still anticipate these scheduled weekly sessions to ground myself and return to a place of spirituality. This was just the beginning of my meditation journey, and ever since I embraced it, I've been learning new ways to meditate, gaining insights about meditation along the way.
Incorporating meditation in my life has brought me inner peace, calmed my mind after long, stressful days, and, on the flip side, allowed me to raise my energy in the morning for a more vibrant day ahead.
Among the various meditation techniques out there, two personal favourites stand out: having the beauty of Tibetan Singing Bowls in the background and the power of Guided Meditation.
I would now love to share this incredible tool with you in the hopes that you find it as beneficial as I have. What's most inspiring is that it's accessible to everyone, regardless of their location, schedule, or lifestyle. Incorporating meditation into your life is a start and if you can make it a part of your daily routine, it can have a profound positive impact on both your mental and physical well-being.

My first encounter with a Singing Bowl took place at the Hawkes Bay Yoga Festival in 2022. How I felt after the session made me look into acquiring some for myself. Since then, I've integrated these bowls into my personal meditation practice, used them to cleanse my environment, and shared the joy and relaxation they bring with my family and friends. Now, I'm enthusiastic about sharing the harmonious sounds and vibrations of these ancient healing bowls with everyone, allowing you to experience their soothing qualities.
There are various forms of Sound Healing available, but personally, I feel a deep connection with the history, texture, and unique antique properties of Tibetan Singing Bowls. These bowls are believed to have been in existence for 5,000 years, dating back to the time of Shakyamuni Buddha, and originate from Northern India or Nepal.
After attending Buddhist Meditation Classes here in Palmerston North, I found a strong connection to the beliefs and values of the Buddhist religion, which makes me wonder if this is why I am so drawn to these beautiful bowls.
I currently own three of these bowls and am expanding my collection as I am able. The various sizes of the bowls are associated with different chakras in the body (energy centres) due to their unique tones and frequencies. I am working on mastering the ability to play all the different-sized bowls to have these as a tool incorporated in all of my Spiritual Life Coaching techniques.
